NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON AMENDMENT OF IMPACT FEES

Notice is hereby given for a public hearing on the update of impact fees for the City of Ovilla, Texas to be held on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting.  The hearing will be held in the Ovilla City Council Chamber, 105 S. Cockrell Hill Rd., Ovilla Texas, 75154.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider the amendment of land use assumptions and a capital improvements plan and the imposition of an impact fee.   Any member of the public has the right to appear at the public hearing and present evidence for or against the proposed updated impact fees.  The City of Ovilla’s Advisory Committee has recommended to the City Council that the fees be adopted at the maximum fee amount of $3,355.31 per water impact service unit and $5,314.75 per sewer impact service unit.  The fees are not accessed on any home currently constructed in the City of Ovilla.  The Committee’s recommendation letter to the City Council as well as The Water and Wastewater Impact Fee Update are available for review on the city’s website www.cityofovilla.org or in the lobby of City Hall.
