I believe my water bill is incorrect. What can I do?
Contact the Utility Billing/Permit Clerk, (972) 617-7262 and request another reading of the meter. If the reading is correct and you still believe it is wrong, you may have a leak. If the reading is incorrect, utility billing will make the correction to your water bill.

My sewer fee is higher than my water fee. How come?
Sewer rates are higher than water rates. For further information or help, please contact the Utility Billing Department, (972) 617-7262.

My garbage was not picked up today. Why?
If your garbage was out at the normal collection site before 7:00 am and not collected, contact City Hall at (972) 617-7262, as soon as possible. Community Waste Disposal (CWD) collection trucks check with City Offices for complaints on pick-up day. If you discover this after hours, contact CWD direct at (972) 392-9300 or (817) 795-9300.

I have a leak in my house and cannot turn my water off. Whom can I call?
Contact Utility Billing between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. A water maintenance employee will respond. After hours, contact Midlothian Dispatch, (972) 775-3333, to notify the on-call employee.

To whom can I complain about high grass?
Contact the city offices Code Enforcement Department (972) 617-7262 during regular working hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm to report high grass/weeds. Code Enforcement will respond.

How do I report a missing, found or lost animal?
Call (972) 617-7262 between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Request to speak with Animal Control.
